Project Management Services

Many organizations treat each compliance initiative as a single project, even though compliance is rarely a "one and done" project.

A Project Management Office (PMO) exists to provide oversight of project performance. This function includes not just evaluating if a project fulfills its goal on time and under budget, but whether the intended business value is realized.

Most compliance initiatives begin as projects, yet the value is only realized when they become components of a sustainable, continuous program.

Why is this important to you?

Because distinguishing between "what must be done" vs. "which accomplishments deliver real business value" helps keep you focused on your strategic direction.

metriQuality helps organizations develop a compliance program to leverage gains from individual compliance projects.

A compliance program need not be so comprehensive and complex that it requires a tremendous effort up front. The program may be developed as a roadmap or framework for aligning project goals with strategic business goals.

A PMO can evaluate whether a project's goals are aligned with corporate goals, and whether the metrics used are compatible with and relative to other business metrics.

While a project may evaluate its own effectiveness, efficiency, and control, it does so in relative isolation. The function of a good PMO (or program) evaluates whether or not its goals conflict with other projects. This dynamic often occurs in compliance or information security projects:
implementing one control to fulfill one requirement may exponentially increase the overall cost of compliance.

metriQuality's Project and Program Management Oversight services assures realization of business value from all your projects and programs.
